The
World of Warcraft Armory site has been updated this week with several cool enhancements. My favorite is the ability to look for upgrades to existing equipment. Simply hover over an equipment slot and a little arrow will show up and when you hover over the arrow a box will expand with a link to search for upgrades. The page you get lists all the equipment that would be an upgrade for that particular item. Playing a paladin, I did notice a mix of gear but the majority and highest ranking gear was based on my talent choices which is pretty cool. The listing also shows where you can get the gear which makes it a lot easier to plan ahead.
The other addition that is noteworthy is the ability to compare profiles. Clicking on the push pin in the "Profile Selected" box in the upper right hand corner will store the currently selected player's profile. When you go to another profile and hover of their gear, you will see their gear plus the selected profiles gear.
I will detail out these new pages in an upcoming entry in my blog along with some of the PVP pages so stay tuned.

One thing I have noticed recently about the World of Warcraft Armory site is that the guild-info.xml is not updated as frequently as the individual character-sheet.xml pages. So if you are looking to accurately represent player level in your custom roster pages, make sure to pull character level from the character-sheet.xml as it will be the most accurate.

I have been a long time fan of the
Paladin Sucks blog but recently they have
stopped posting. I can't find out why but I assume because of the changes to the paladin class of late and the new Lord of the Rings Online MMO. I don't have the time to go through the mess that is the
World of Warcraft Forums so I went searching for some new Paladin related blogs and have found two replacements.
Blessing of Kings is geared more towards the healadin side of being a Paladin but also has insite and news on general Paladin issues.
Zen Tanking is geared towards the tankadin side of being a Paladin which is a great find since that is my focus too.
The other neat find during my search was a
Think Geek T-Shirt called
Team Paladin. I want to get one but I just know the teasing I will get from my wife about it.

The World of Warcraft Armory data provides all you need to build a basic Burning Crusade Progress Page. The page can list who is capable to have Heroic Keys by faction along with who should be Karazhan keyed based off character reputation.
